Clay Property Appraiser's office honored for meeting "highest standard"

The Clay County Property Appraiser's Office will receive a certificate of excellence later this month from an international assessors organization.
The International Association of Assessing Officers announced today that Clay Property Appraiser Roger Suggs and his staff were among the "industry professionals who strive to meet the highest standards in their line of work," according to a news release.
The certificate is given to "governmental units and individuals involved with assessment that integrate best practices in the workplace ... This challenging and rigorous program is a self-conducted evaluation of adherence to specific, accepted assessment administration and appraisal standards," according to the release.
The certificate will be presented during the association's 77th annual conference in Phoenix Sept. 18 - 21.
